TYING RECIPE

Hook: #12-20, dry fly, Mustad or your choice…
Thread: Red 6/0 Danville
Body: Red 6/0 thread or red 6/0 thread with trace of fine red rabbit dubbing
Rib: Fine SM silver wire, 5 OR 6 turns for firm wing base
Tail / Trailing Shuck: Few fibers white Z-lon, sparse, approx 1/2 +/- body length
Wing: Bright white calf tail / antron, upright on top, tied Broomstick style
Hackle: Plain – low profile or fluttering 2-3 turns at collar of light badger, white, or grizzly
Head: Red thread

NOTE: AND DON’T RENAME THE DARN THING, EH !

TECHNIQUE TIPS….
Cast dry to dead-drift, skitter or tug under and retrieve as an emerger via the Leisenring Lift.

Always check your backcast and be safe onstream.
