I had a great day on the Grand river on Sepember 29 and 30 several years ago…I caught 2 large browns, 23″ and 21″ and had the last one like this, maybe 21″ take the Broomstick Caddis with a cinnamon body, my Fall Caddis imitation…
The fishing was so good, I slept overnight in the car at streamside because I was so excited…The 3rd fish followed and short-struck at the fly 3 times….
That day I used an Orvis T3 7’9″ 2pc 5 wt…what a fight…
